The Monster Album (1964)

It's a nasty rainy day here near Salem so we're tossing on some monster surf/hotrod tunes to chase that storm away.

The Monster Album was released in 1964 and despite the cover is more light hearted than scary. In addition to Halloween staples like the Monster Mash, Haunted House, and Purple People Eater it's got weird ones like The Ghoul from Ipanema, Frankenstein Meets the Beetles and a Karloff knock-off covering A Hard Day's Night.

The real stand outs for me are Dracula Drag and My Baby Loves Monster Movies. They're both very catchy and would be great to listen to while driving your Dragula by the beach on a moonlit night.
