If you're lucky enough to have a LEGO store near you, you can stop in to
build this year's Halloween trio. In my case, I was able to find the figs
pre-packed by the register. Sometimes it's fun to hunt through all the pieces
to find the ones you need and sometimes you don't want to fight with the kids
there.
We've got an eclectic group this year and we'll get a little more personal
with each of them. The spooky tree in the background is not a LEGO set but
you'll be able to read about it in an upcoming post. While these are all the
correct parts, I've found people online have the heads with different bodies.
First up we have...saxophone cat girl? Ooookay. I'm not sure why the saxophone
is her accessory of choice but hey, it Halloween! Be what you want! Her head
has two expressions, smiling (see first pic) and just kinda there. The torso
is cute and could be fun for a clown or some other oddball.
Next we have a tree! Not a lot to say about this guy except what's underneath
the costume...
This isn't the first minifig head with a hearing aid but it is the first one
I've come across.
Rounding out our group is this pumpkin headed celebrant. Usually if a lantern like this is part of a larger set, there is a translucent brick that sits inside it to make it look like it's glowing with light.
This head is also interesting with it's Elton John-esque star shaped glasses.
I guess this head would probably go better on one of the other minifigs so you
can see the glasses.
