Halloween 2025 Lego Minifigs

Another of my favorite traditions is picking up the Halloween LEGO minifigs. If you're lucky enough to have a LEGO store nearby, they have a build a minifig station with all kinds of parts. For $10 you can make three figures. Of course, you don't have to build them the "official" way but I use it as a starting point to make sure I get the right pieces.

This is also why I like getting the building block sets like in yesterday's post, so my minifigs have a place to hang out. This year brings us a ghost, a kid witch, and a mummy.

The ghost (is it a costume??) has a dual portrait head: winking and open mouthed. Maybe she's screaming? Maybe she's a banshee and not a ghost? When you build the minifigs, you also get an accessory for them. Her accessory is...a ghost! It's like a little decoration that you can snap on a wall.

I call her "kid witch" because she has the kid legs that make her shorter than a regular minifig. Her dress is super cute with a large bat in the middle (wings hidden by her hair) and a bunch of little bats and stars around it. She also has two portraits: smirking and laughing (see pics below). Naturally, I had to get a black cat for her.

Mr Mummy didn't have an "official" accessory. At first I was going to go with a snake, you know mummies, Egypt, snake. Made sense. But then I found this crutch and thought it would be funny for the bandaged up guy to have a crutch. With that headwrap piece, you can turn almost any minifig into an accident victim! Maybe that's getting a little too dark for this post...

And while we're on the subject of Halloween LEGO, here's some fun stuff I picked up from Crazy Bricks.

Starting at the top are a ghost cat and ReaPurr cat which were impulse buys after I saw them. What really got me were the BOO bags. You can get them individually but if you get the set of six, they toss in the spider bag for free! I know I'll be using them in future Halloween displays.

Something I didn't find out about until a couple days ago is that there is a pair of Dia de los Muertos minifigs in the mix too! I may need to go back and pick them up.

  1. How cute! That witch is adorable and I really like that gate. Nice touch with the crutch too. :) And Temu sure came through for you in that last blog post. You should be good to go with a whole Halloween scene.

So, I went back to Spirit to try those hidden features on the subway. We didn't have a moving floor but there was a lever. I pulled that and the led screen above me changed from a rat peeking down to the Spirit skeleton and then some lights blinked on and off. We also had a cord phone in the front of the subway and if you pushed some buttons on it you'd hear various emergency recordings. So that's something!

    1. Oh yeah, I had forgot about the screen. In my store, that was kind of in the middle of the subway car on the ceiling. Did you notice if you had to step on a rubber mat to be "at the controls" in the subway? That's where the vibration/buzzer thing was in mine.

    2. Yeah, that's more or less where the screen was for me and sort of near the big rat. Oh, I did see those rubber mats but I didn't stand on any! There were a few of those in the subway. OK, I guess I have something new to try next time I'm back there. :)

    1. Was it the set that they put out or did he make his own?
